Old news. It's been up on here for a while now. Personally, I think the Silver and Olive make it look cheap.

I have the olive color MR1 and I like it since it blends in with the camo I use which is Mossyoak Break-up (which I use for hunting also). You can see the outline of a black gun against camo clothing easily. The olive color kinda breaks up the outline a bit. I got the guille suit for the hopper and tank so Im like a walking bush.

Looks like a mechanical AMG with a stock. That expansion chamber or whatever it is, is like the same thing.

Thanks for the compliments. My girlfriend just got it for me for our anniversary.

I dont know if this is the place to ask but will try.

What would be a good barrel for accuracy on this MR1? I saw a MR2 with a 20'' and a bi-pod on this forum and thought it was cool but is it neccessary?

The expansion chamber you are talking about is just a square tube where the bottom line feeds through. If I took it off there would be only a braided air line.

Lapco* (not lamco)

Smart Parts also makes nice barrels. like VS3 sniper said, get nothing over 16", though I'd stick 14" and under, unless its just for looks.

Thaks guys, that narrows my selection. I'll go with the J&J since I hear so much about it.

You are one lucky dude

What would be a good barrel for accuracy on this MR1?

Like everything in paintball...how much are you willing to spend? ha

A barrel kit is always you're best choice but around here J&J and the lapco bigshot have been barrels of choice ever since i first joined like 4 or 5 years ago. (took a break..came back, forgot password for my username on here) I've heard the bigshot is LOUD though. So if you're playing woodsball it might no be the greatest idea. Don't go over 14". Get a 14". I prefer 12" but 14" is great. Getting a 16" just loses gas eficiency and doesn't do much for accuracy.

i like loud, sounds intimidating. Since the people I play with dont like to get shot very much it is good.

whats the difference between a barrel kit and a regular barrel

I just figured a lesser noise equals more stealth.
A barrel kit is a kit that comes with a front barrel peice and a bunch of different back peices that all have a different caliber size. The back peices screw into the front barrel to make the barrel. It is used so you can match you're barrel size to the ball size giving you much more accuracy with any paint you may buy.
The only kit (I think) that doesn't use the different caliber backs is the smart parts freak kit that uses aluminum inserts you put into the back barrel peice to make the caliber different sizes.

I do use stealth to get close to my enemy but the noise really freaks them out then you start shooting.

Those kits sound really cool now that I know what they include. seems like I can get more out of a barrel than just getting a standard barrel.

IF you only end up using one type of paint.....and the same size then maybe a one size barrel would be better if you see how it fitz and all....

If you get a new barrel, make sure its spyder threads
