boy i was really set on the MR2
then i was going to get the reloader B with internal leds so i could use glowing balls

but then i say the BT-4 ERC
electric trigger
apex barrel
halo rip clip hopper
flat top rail
under $275

nice milsim

both are great guns from what i've heard
so who can give me some reasons to stick with the MR2
this is your chance to bash BT ladies and gents

Since I'm not going to be the one shooting it, I think you should choose. Don't see why I should have any influence or for that matter, need to sway your choice of marker one way or the other. Unless you buy both, you'll never really know which was the better choice lol -

You should really try before you buy.....if you really want a reasonable way to choose. Things like weight, feel, performance are crucial in getting the right marker for YOU. Asking for personal opinions, you will get just that and not an actual report of what is best for yourself. Go to your local shop and see what they have in stock and ask if you can try one out-back, most shops will. BT owners love BT and Spyder owners love Spyder, kind of the wrong way to go about what is the right style for yourself.

I can't really 'bash' either marker.....
The BT is harder to teardown and clean, but I think the BT is a great MilSim....(My milsim is a 98C)
The MR2 is easier to clean. It is a Spyder, and as such uses a stacked tube design, which is my preferred design for paintball markers....
Either one will get you into the woods and on target...go shoot both of them and decide which one 'speaks' to you...

i have tried my friendds MR2.
i have to say,...
after i tryed it, I wanted one for myself.
test both guns.
see which one is right for you.

ex. light weight>fast>easy to upgrade = speedball gun

not as light>accurate>not as fast = woodsball gun

the gun you buy needs to fit how you play.

hope this helps

Here's my opinion: When you go to paintball fields, EVERYONE has a BT or a A5. To a point where no one is impressed when you get here with your fully customized BT with ugly apex thing. I got more looks and cause more fear with my MR1 than my two friends with their TAC9 and A5. I prefer to be a black sheep rather than fit on the mold. (the majority of the local players in my area are tippman lovers just because they never tried other brands)
