Is your tank full? Have you cleaned and oiled your marker recently? Is your pressure high enough? These are all things that could cause that. I'd suggest re-filling your tank, stripping your gun, cleaning, and oiling it. Then try shooting. If it still doesn't recock try raising the pressure.

oiled, cleaned fresh tank have no air presure adjustment.

hows the striker oring? if its a fatty striker then you needto use a special oring or it will burp

I've been tinkering with my aggressor, and now it does that same thing everytime a ball has not dropped (and obviously if I'm out of balls). It recocks fine after firing a ball. Sound familiar?

you just have a touchy gun that needs the extra backpressure probably a bad striker oring
