Nope, not AJ's new watch thread, I actually have a watch now. Got one as an early graduation present from a close friend. Now, before you see pictures, a disclaimer: My camera skills are not that of Dave's. This means that you cannot criticize me for better pix, Chris. :dodgy:

Stolen image so you guys can see what the face looks like (my camera sucks too much for one):

In case you couldn't tell, it's a Croton. Not too shabby, especially for one who's as picky about watches as me. I haven't worn one since Freshman year (3 years ago) because my favorite one broke, and I hadn't found one that fit me right. This one's HUGE. It came from the factory with just about a 9-9.5" wrist, and it was just about right for the face proportionately. Makes it great when I don't have my glasses on to see it, though. :D

my ideal watch would have a LCD screen in full color, and would have other useful features, like at your wrist dictionary, translator, messenger, gps, etc. other than that... i refuse to have clunk around my wrist. very nice though. 11 is sorta like groping 12 or something...

Calculator watches FTW. Always functional and the reep style! That one is nice too.

Nice watch! I have always been a Seiko Kinetic fan, but that is nice! :)

Haha, thanks guys!
The "12" is bigger than the "11," so I don't see how someone could confuse them when looking at it. One odd thing about it is that I looked at it today and it was 3 o'clock, but I read it as 21 o'clock and was like wtf? This watch will take some getting used to... :(

I like that watch. I tend not to be a big fan of all metal watches cause they pinch my arm hair, but i like the watch

Sig thief! :dodgy:
Haha, it actually hasn't pinched me yet, no matter what I've been doing. It's a different kind of all metal band than I normally have seen on watches, so I'm assuming that's the reason.

Too damn early, Dan. ;)
The metal band is just put together differently than other watches I've had. I'll try to get you a pic later of what I mean.

Well I would argue that it's army time. But that's not worth the effort.
Nice watch though, and which Dave were you referring to? -_-;;

The next watch I'll have will be a Navy SEAL Dive watch. I don't want anything dressier than that really.
Nice watch if you're into that style, though. :thumbup:

Take your pick. :) Amazingly, all the Dave's I know take good pictures, but all the Chris's take ****ty ones (have to rag on him while I can :)).
I am into watches like that as well, Durrel. A nice, functional one with 3 time zones, date, water proof, and all that kind of stuff turns my crank as well. :D
