View Full Version : Traded the nexus/new gun and gear

Well I got fed up and quit my team I just joined not more then 3 weeks ago so the nexus had to go as the only reason I actually got it was b/c of the whole team sponsor crap, aka I hate egos.

Decided to start my own team again instead of giving up on speedball for awhile, so I went back to the gun that is hands down my all time favorite, you just can't beat the smoothness, consistency and speed.

So I traded for:

-orange bolt
-CP continuous flow plug
-CP on/off
-now has VP trigger I had laying around from my other DM6

Empire B
-critical cone
-hands free rip drive knob:dodgy: (replacing soon)

Empire E-vents

Over lube much?

I have never seen so much lube in one gun before, basicly the entire chamber going up to the eyes was full of lube, so much so that the eyes didn't even work at first but after the a good cleaning all is good.

I have two DM6's now and couldn't be happier, empire b and e-vents are pretty nice also. I can't get over how much easier it is to take apart the e-vents compared to my flex8's.

Probably going to add a few things to the DM soon and call it done and move on to my next project.

Pretty much done whoring for now since tourny season/the time i get to play the most.

why 2 dm6s doesn't make sense to me I mean youalready have one I guess it was the only thing with the same trade value thats a spool valve no because youcould have gotten a questwhich is mostly like a spool valve but what ever

I don't really like anything else, I always find the stupidest little thing I don't like and use it as a reason for trading. My silver and red DM6 is my primary gun in speedball and now I have almost the exact setup as a backup. Plus my halo is broke so the empire B was nice to get and I have been wanting to try E-vents in a more long term test instead of just using them for a couple games.

There are only a few guns i would trade this one for, so I guess will see what happens.

The cocker looks nicer IMO :p

Nice gun, though I think you got given too little for the previous gun. (not performance-wise, but Egos are way overvalued).

Personally I like the "Stormtrooper" look of ther DM6. Clear and black is very, very nice IMO. My fav two colors aside from gunmetal grey on markers.

I love E-Vents, just never wanted to fork over the money to get one... and my Profilers keep me pleanty happy.

You have a similar situation to what I do though, your rip nob is broken. Mine is cracked... not yet broken, but in a little while it's probably going to fall apart. I've been tearing through my house looking for this jewelry skull I had. I'm going to drill into the head and use it as a rip nob to go along with my shells, and sandana (thank you so much).

...and thats disgusting how much lube was in there.
