How have the Vs2s performed for you guys? Is there anything wrong you have found about the gun? Please, any comments will help.

Also, does anyone know how many grams the activation switch is? Also, what are some suggested upgrades for this gun?

I Have the VS3 and so far it has been an awesome gun, although some people have had problems with the asa and psi but so far mine has given me no problems. Also reccomend upgrading the asa and reg along with a fast hopper and barrel.

I have 2 VS2's, mine & my son's. Both with Virtue boards.
My Gun:
After 1,000's of shots the reg. is finally consistant and shoots ropes.
I have problems with the reg./on-off all the time.
The o-ring on the back side of the adjuster pulls out of it's seat.
Happens about 4 out of 10 times.

His Gun:
Bad re-cocking issue.
I don't think his reg. is broke in, yet... Or, maybe even defective...

With the right hopper and the Virtue board installed I love this gun.
I can get around 1,000 shots out of a 48/3000 tank at 220-230psi and 275-285fps.
It took a lot of fine-tuning to get it there.

I have a VS2 and have put a case and half of paint through with little issue. The only thing that was wrong with my VS2 is it needed a good lubeing.

The trigger switch is very light. 25g? Lets put it this way, last time out I misfired a few times with barely touching the damn thing. Although this is after years of using a m98... :)

I haven't actually gotten to take mine out to a field yet, so that's the best I can do...

Regarding VS2 feedback here's a review I found ins another forum:

"Spitfirock's Vs2 Review

Well, i wanna make a nice review for people who are thinking about getting the vs2. I am also going to mention why the Vs2 can be better than the ion.(i love ions, and i own one myself). Alright where to start.

Many people who do not have a vs2, compare them to like timmies, and egos. SInce they do this they think that the vs2 sucks agaisnt them. Vs2=180, Ego=1200, Timmy=450. If you put in 500bucks worth of upgrades, like i did, your vs2 will out shoot an ego, will own the timmy, and most of all, own a fully uped ion, without all the maintance hassles.

The vs2 is a very simple gun design, and it doesnt recuire much maintance. Ocasionally, your vs2 will have a problem, and the great news is that it wont take any money, and very little time to fix it. All of the problems i have encountered are an easy simple fix. I have done my time and research comparing the ion and the vs2. A lot of ppl unkowngly just blurt out sayin the ion is better. I ask them how do they know, they just pull stuff out of their ***. I did10 days of research, fully upped my ion and vs2(spend a little over $1200 on both) and i found that the fastest my ion would shoot is 27bps. I double checked that with the mechanics, and thats the fastest an ion can cycle while shooting balls at 280fps. My vs2 however was shooting 29.8bps, and i checked the mechanics and it was capble of doing 30 bps at 280fps. So why is the ion better? Lighter.

The weight problem can be solved with 100 bucks, by gettin the trinity body. with the trinity body, my vs2 weighs 2.1pounds and the ion weighs 2.2.

Consistency, i was able to get a +/- of 2 while shooting at 15bps psp ramping.

My upps are as followed.
Trinity Body
Trinity Reg adapter
Cp reg
CP drop
Cp on off
Virtue board with eyes
Macro line kit
32 degress spring kit
red body kit
red barrel tip
red laser eyes
alamo city bolt

My ups on my ion are
Trinity sick body with feedneck
Trinity new trigger
Ndz feedneck
Cp reg
Cp on/off
Cp drop
Macroline kit
Virtue board
Virtue Qev
Virtue Easy on
Virtue red laser eyes
Redz boomstick

I did various tests, and I prefer my Vs2, over any ion any day. My vs2 right now with all the ups is no more than $550bucks, and my ion is idk like $650. THe only thing is that your going to be laughed at for having a spyder, but when you spray their face, your gonna be the one laughing.

Overall, i rate the vs2 a 10/10 becuase it not only is a very reliable gun, its also very easly upgradable. Dont listen to people who say it doesnt have any upgrades. It has plenty! I love my vs2, and i would ragther have this then an Ego. And thats how much i love my spyder."

I got to actually play with mine for realy last weekend... I was extremely pleased. I'd put no more than half a case through it, but I had absolutly zero knock on wood) issues with anything. It recocked perfectly fine at 200psi and shot extremely accurately, especially considering I was using 6-month-old paint. The eyes worked like a dream, no chops at all, even in 3-round mode. And the trigger is just amazing, it's really easy to shoot ropes with it once you get it tweaked to your liking.

I was thinking about maby getting a VS2 .... or VS3....

Do they HAVE to work on LP or can it use HP right out the the box?
