Yes, regular Spyder e-grips fit fine on the MR1. You just need to transfer the e-striker as well.

you can put e-triggers on the MR1 but I do not know if you can with the pilot's?????

It's very simple. Take an allen wrench and remove the screws that hold the frame to the body of both markers. now, on the Pilot, remove the quick strip pin (careful, the velocity adjuster is under tension and can shoot out). now pull out the bolt and striker assembly. Now do the same thing on the MR1. Swap the strikers so that the striker that was in the Pilot is now in the MR1. Reassemble velocity adjuster and spring and everything on the MR1. Attach the frame that had been on the Pilot onto the MR1. Done! Now post a thread in the sales corner with all your leftover parts.

Thanks Critical. Do all spyder's trigger frames line up the same on all spyder markers?

Most everything except the MR2 and 3, the VS series and maybe a couple oddball older Spyders.

OK and one more thing, would I still be able to keep my MR1 drop forward on?

Not directly. The MR1 has the drop forward screws inline, while the pilots are offset. You can use the drop, but you would need an adapter block like the one Custom Products sells ($10).

Also since I will have the Pilot for parts mostly is it possible to take the ACS bolt out and put it in the mr1 since the mr1 has a side detent

Did you say he's selling both the MR1 and Tank for $50....or just the C02 tank for $50?

Cause $50 for a C02 tank is a rip...

He is selling the Spyder PILOT and a 20 oz tank both for $50 and hes never used them in combat. He shot a hopper full through it and pretty much forgot about paintball. I have the MR1 already and I will be putting the electonic frame from the Pilot on the MR1 and maybe evn put the acs bolt on if possible.

The Pilot bolt will not fit in the MR1, it's too long.

I forgot to ask, since the pilot shoots up to 20 bps, would an empire reloader hopper get the job done or would the dang thing chop since it couldnt feed consistently? I really dont want to dish out anything over $100 just for a hopper.

are you supposed to swap the striker also? how come, I swapped trigger frames from a pilot into a sonix and didn't swap the strikers. Why are you supposed to?

Because the catch on the striker for the sear (the little metal tab at the top of the trigger frame) is slightly different on the e-striker than the mech one. It'll probably work either way.
