Mind sharing the kind of drain cleaner? I plan on stripping the anno on my spyder as well.

It looks kind of rough and scratchy, make sure to increase you grit count with sandpaper, and sand it down smoothe, then go in and polish it with some good ol' Mothers Mag, then buff it to shine! Polish the insides too!

that looks like a ton of work... dont forget to get some abraisive sponge (better than very high grit sand paper for finishing) before you polish

if you move the trigger up the 3/4in then that means the striker will not go back as far...then the bolt wont go back and clear the ball feed:confused:

i am going to make it a spimmy, so there is no striker i have to worry about.

Sweetness, can't wait to see it all finished. I really like your custom trigger and the hole you cut out behind the barrel, wouldn't have thought to do that untill I saw it....

I really like the hole right before the barrel. It took me a while to figure out that it was the barrel sticking out through there.

yea i cut off a mounting hole but i moved the triggerframe up enuff so i could dril a hole in the triggerframe and use the screw hole on the body now i just have to drill and tap the back hole for the trigger frame and make a custom snatchgrip

do u mind if i steal your idea with the hole cut before the barrel? it looks mean as. just 1 question... will any air escape out it, like will the velocity drop?
