just wanting to say hi and that i'm new to paintball and just bought a pilot package at my local sinster paintball ... have been frequenting my local action paintball field and learning alot ... just bought a bunch of new stuff for my gun and wanted to know if there is a barrel preference list somewhere for the pilots or what material i should go with ... was looking the the smart parts barrels and the J&J ceramic ... let me know what you think

as far as barrels go, there are a great many choices out there. The most important thing to look for is paint to bore match. There's two ways to do that. One, find a barrel you like and buy paint that fits, or the opposite way, if you find a paint that you like, buy a barrel that matches. The Smart Parts barrels are great. I've got a Freak barrel that has been on every Spyder I've owned, and allows you to shoot every paint out there, and changing temp and humidity doesn't matter, because you just swap inserts. The other Smart Parts barrels also get great reviews. The J&J ceramic barrel is also well regarded, many like that it is self cleaning.

I love my J&J Ceramic barrel. If you have the extra $ go with the full tilt model by J&J. They are light, quiet and good accuracy.
The SP All AMerican Barrel is also very nice. If you can find one cheap grab it.
You will not be dissapointed by either one of these barrels.

i found that the empire twisted barrel is absolutly awsome it shoots straight and is very accurate
