View Full Version : 4Runner vs. Accord = ...

My friend got into a car accident yesterday... She sprained her neck... So she called me to work for her... I didn't want to, but I felt like helping her... So I had to go into work today... I left for work, and am in a parking lot about a quarter mile away from work... Going down the parking lot, a lady in a 4Runner is cutting across the middle of the parking lot... I don't remember much of it, but I do know that once I was aware of... things going on... I was facing the opposite way of how I'd been going, I had a fair pain in my shoulder, and didn't know what the heck was going on... I looked around, saw broken glass, looked back, was like WTF?!.. We called police, got a report started... And I went to work... I'm super sore, and I'm sure it'll be worse tomorrow... Not expecting to go to school tomorrow, I'll be way too sore...

-4runner + accord = OUCH
-Not my fault
-Irony sucks
-I don't have a car for a while
-Pics say the rest

I hope she has good insurance, make sure you get a good lawyer right away and don't talk to her insurance until you do. You can actually call you're insurance company and tell will probably tell you which lawyer to use and help you out with all that. You think you're car will be totalled?

time to cash in dude!
yep. go get yourself a nice new car...

I think that this could have turned out to be a LOT worse. If you had been hit 3 - 4 feet more towards the front of your car you could have suffered some major injuries. Glad to hear you're alright, and definetly time to cash in!

I think I hit the gas before she hit me, so I pulled enough out of the way... Not sure... But yeah... My left arm would be worse than it is now if she'd hit farther forward... Right now, I just have a LOT of pulls in it, and a bruise from my shoulder hitting/busting the window... Haha I pulled muscles I didn't even know I had... But yeah... Whiplash is the SUCK today... Hurts like heck... The car wasn't worth much, so I won't get a ton of cash out of it, but I've got some cash saved up and a job... And my parents will help too... Don't know exactly what I'll get, but it'll definitely be nicer than that...

Oh, and glass splinters SUCK!!

a 4runner isnt a truck, its a wannabe truck.

haha, when i first read the title of this thread, i thought you were deciding which car to buy, and i was comming up with all these reasons why an accord is better than a 4runner... my bad.

good to see that you're doing okay, and i hope your insurance score doesnt go up too much because of this.

Her fault

Glad you are ok.... I got into a bad accident in July. I was t-boned by a guy doing about 70mph. I am very luck he was NOT driving a 4-runner. Mine was Honda Accord vs. Hyundai Sonata. Like you I was also lucky not to get hit on the drivers door. I got hit in the passenger door/front quarter panel and left with a very broken wrist and lots of bruises.

Enjoy the Insurance money!!!

Let me know if you want pics.
