Leak in my '06

There is a very small leak in my '06 electra out of the box...

It is dropping tank pressure of my 45ci 4500 Pure Energy very slowly (maybe 500psi/hour) and I have located to leak to be exactly on the 90 degree male to male elbow (part number 42i) where its inserting into the regulator. I attemped to seal this with no avail, so I removed the elbow and cleaned the regulator threads.

I need to get a new elbow for the reg, and was wondering the best method to do this...

Should I email/call kingman support and see if they can send me a new one?

Can I order this part from a online retailer or find it in a local hardware store, it seems uncommon..

Upon replacing it, I`ll try to seal it with some locktite, but this leak is simply annoying on air, and probably effecting my shot to shot consistancy.

If it's brand new then try contaqcting kingman. first try using some teflon tape on the threads.

Sorry I should have clearified this, the gun is currently not brand new, but the leak was present out of the box and seems more ponounced on air, so I decided to fix it.

Would any of these fittings work, they are not the exact same fitting, but I assume mine is for a macroline...?

It all depends...do you still have the stock SS (stainless steel) hose on the Electra?

Yes, is a that a 1/4" macroline? ... in which case FN90P-1/4 would do the trick?

Have you tried putting teflon tape on the threads?

If you do buy macroline then I would advise getting it from here

Well I'd rather simply get the replacement elbow if possible.

I cannot use the current elbow because the threads are covered in locktite, and despite trying to burn/clean it off, it doesn't want to come off. Only the female threads on the reg and stainless steel hose are clean.. Do you know a retailers for that piece or one that would be comparable?

Looks like I need to wait for kingman to get back to me. If not I may just go with a macroline, although the gun its its current condition is prime. Thanks for the help and suggestions!
