Well I think I have her the way I like her.

I put the dropout changer in and used a SS hose with a QD on the dummy CO2 cartridge. Now it is easy for me to switch to 12g's in the dropout or use my bulk tanks. I covered the SS in black heat shrink, and a good buddy of mine is sending me some more SS hose, so I am going to use that on the bottom line also. The macro was nice but the SS is more durable.

When in dropout mode I have a nipple cap to cover the QD and a plug for the ASA to keep dirt out. I am going to fix the plug so the whole thing is black and flush to the ASA.

Everytime I see your pump it gets me looking at picking one up for my next project. That is one beautiful pump :applause:

Man, what's this make? About 10 of us here that have Phantoms now? Perhaps we should make our on forum on Phantoms here! Or at least a "show us your Phantom" picture thread....hmmmmmm....

I'm glad you like it so much, though that particular setup looks odd to me. Course, I prefer the 3.5 oz up front with the plain out T stock, but that's just me.

Wow how long will this setup last. I have five bucks on less than a week. Any takers? Great job man u make me want to get into pump play lol.

Id loose the fugly home-depot-esque hose for some macroline... those black fittings look hot, a few more would be even better.

The SS line is tougher and leaks less. I am going to replace the bottom line with SS too.

Too each his own. I like the macro fittings better, but like I said less leaks from SS line. And the idea is when I want to use the dropout changer I can just remove the QD and put a cap on to keep out dirt. There is nothing to cap a macro fitting, at least not that I know of.

You can build a cap out of a really short, maybe 1" peice of macro. Just take the macro, get some puddy/glue stuff and fill it up. Voila, macro plug. haha. I think you can put one of those fill nipple covers on it too with the right amount of force and shorten the macro even more.

Tried a fill nipple cover on macro, wont stay put. The filled macro is ghetto :)

So make a macro plug... Blech, that steel line just needs to go, it is making her look (don't take this bad).... fuglyish. Was way better with the macro. You might just be cutting it too short or not pushing it in enough if you're having problems with leaking...

Just put a guage there, change it out when you want to use the macro or SS depends on what you want to use.

Or one of those thread saver/hex plugs. But that takes alot of time to switch out...

I can make you a spiffy looking macro plug haha. (Sadly I've had experience making pwretty ones for my friends who have pumps.)

unscrew the v/a when you want to use the rear changer.
