keeping dirt out....how?

has anyone found a part to cover up the top slot of the gun, where the cocking pin is. i play in west texas and the dirt is pretty much everywhere, so sealing my gun up is essential.

i was thinking of trying to make a cover out of cloth, that attaches with the grip frame and opens with a velro flap.....

Take down the diameter measurement, go to a hardware store and look for something that would fit(metal, plastic, whatever). Speaking of would/wood......you might see if there is a dowel rod size close to it. You could hold it in with the screws -
