I have a completely stock Imagine 04, and looking to upgrade my barrel first. So i know I want a J&J but I don't know which one. The S2, the Ceramic Full Tilt or the Ceramic. I would get the Edge system, but I don't have the money. So which would be better for a beginning tourny player?

I have an AA for my Spydee and still use my J&J ceramic exclusively. Best bang for the buck, light and quiet -

So, you would go with the ceramic over the full tilt?

depends on how much $ you have

I have enough for any one of the three

2 piece barrels are OK but I think 1 piece barrels are a bit better. 1 piece leaves the steps out of the bore which makes sense would/should be more accurate.

Makes sense

that seam on a decent 2 piece barrel won't affect performance at all. it should be very minute if the barrel is a good one to begin with.

i have never used any of these barrels but have heard good things about the ceramic.
