View Full Version : Just installed my "eyes"

A few pics of my eyes installed. I made the cover as a temp. while im looking for one that I really like. Its held on with velcro for the time being.......I went all out on it though, I made a cover from clay, cast it in plaster and filled the space with lead. Ground it down and painted it ;)

i want to see how much is extended out of the detents

nothing actually sticks out into the chamber, the eye sits in the frame wall. The last pic shows the eye.......

why do u have 4 wires going into the detent?

there aren't any eyes on the other side?

they are bouncebeams......i know i know, everyone says they suck.

The eye doesnt go into the detent at all, the hole is drilled under the detent to the right.

Well done. The only thing I could see that might need a little attention still is the channel on your trigger frame might need to be a little deeper to keep the wires from getting pinched. Other than that nice job!

That pic was actually taken before I ground down some more of the frame, I think the wires are good. Good eye though........now to get a eye cover that I like.

how did u mill the channels for ur wires to run?

only on the trigger frame using a cutting wheel and a dremel.
