bad.

Made By RPS, so it has a thick shell
PMI is owned by NPS, and I'm boycotting NPS
cheap paint, not well made
thin fill, easy to wipe

yea i did notice its sorta thin oh well thats why ionly bought 500 plus ottersc says its too small for my barrel (i had the chart with me to be surei wasnt getting something to big). have any recomendations for better paint that i can get for less than $40 a case? how is the brass eagle monster ball im assuming its bad as its be.

uh... for a spyder thick shell might be a good idea
because they sometimes break thin shells... i prefer whitebox and xball/dxs bronze, which are both in the 35-45 range per case

what is whitebox? you mean seconds? like theese http://www.amazon.com/Seconds-Paintballs-2000-Rounds/dp/B00024DE4S/ref=sr_1_1/104-8147388-8712760?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1175897415&sr=8-1
and what about the be monster balls worse than the super swirl im assuming
and upon closer inspection they have dimples then again tey were on clearence maybe i should look for a date on the box

hows nelson hot spot?

i like using Stingers. if they're fresh they are very round with no dimples. they fit perfect in my barrel, but it's just a bit small for a stock spyder barrel. the barrel i have is an OTP Premium Java edition.

I love Nelson paint - we used to get it through a sponsor. I shot a LOT of that paint! Hot Spot is pretty good stuff. Thick, bright fill, shell breaks consistantly. If I had access to Nelson paint again, I'd use it in a heartbeat.

well i bougnht a case of 2000 for 30.00 and it is a bit small for my stock barrel but thats what the velocity adjuster is for. the seam between the two halves of the shell is a little big compared to the rps shelled stuff iv been using but im sure it will be fine for rec and woodsball. i need to email ottersccustoms and tell him that his chart is wrong he says hot spot is .689-.690 but i measure .681 its pretty lose in my .692 barrel

Otter prolly made that chart, what, 5 years ago? If you got the paint from Dunham's, it has prolly been on the shelf since before the reptile was introduced to the food chain lol. There is most likely 2 different measurements on it; one at the seam and one from top to bottom. Far as paint goes, get it from a pro shop where turnover is most likely frequent. If you paid $35 - $40 for a case from a retailer, you'll get what you paid for -

there are no proshops within a distnce where gas costs less than the stuff im buying. and im talking bout a 20mpg mini van. Know of any in the jackson county michigan area? and the paint is pretty new at the dunhams i go to no big (over 1 mm) dimples in the two boxes ive bought so far

technically speaking that makes them "better engineered" since they are closer in tolerance to the actual number on the box... They do make barrels that small, but I'd use a .684ish

............. most barrels seem to be .689

Most paints are as well to closely match the habitual .689 barrels - ;)

i shoot the cheapest possible. because i have all my money into my gear.(stupid me). but i got a CP barrel kit with every size thats made. and it shoots ok even with dimples, ide sugggest saving your money for a kit. and buying the insert for the paint you can get. but make sure you get the right size before you buy it.
