The light was on? or wanst on? If it wasnt on than you are having the same problem I am, and its a fried curcuit board. You need to buy a whole new one now.

Did you stick a 9v in there? I think this gun can only actually click with a 9.6v. I tried placing a regular 9v in mine and the light came on but it didnt click. Maybe thats the problem?

Try taking the frame off the body and see if the sear will trip then?

A 9v is fine. Thats all I use because I lost my 9.6v at my girlfriends house the day I got my marker... It clicks with both.

Sounds like it might be a bad capacitor(large black cylinder at the top of the board). Replace it and see if it works then -

Hmm, must have been my board than. Because one day woodsballing I ran out of juice in my 9.6v because I forgot to recharge it. So I tried about 3 different 9v batteries (spares for my old hopper) and non of them worked. Another player than handed me a 9.6v and it worked fine. Perhaps my baord was an older model or something.
