It's a toss up, same price for the Fasta 18v as the Egg 3 and pretty much same performance. I liked my zeggy but there where some issues as well, after using it and then my pulse I have to admit that I definitely prefer the top loading style over the flip down door of the egg, but that would be a preference thing not really a draw back. I had issues with the electronics on the egg, disassembly for cleaning was a task all in its self and the feed impeller fingers after extensive use "may" break off. Other than that it was a great loader and could keep up with my marker until I installed the t-board. Definitely a good starter e-loader for your marker until you make the jump to a higher level loader.

get a revvy much much cheaper, and besides pilot cant shoot more than 15 bps, considering the crazy recoil for the 800+ psi the gun operates at.

IMHO, it would be a waste of money to get a revy. The Pilot is capped at 20bps in semi, not that most people can hit it, but if you ever plan to upgrade your gun a revy will not do. Why waste the money now when you can get a good hopper now and keep it for the long run. I would say go for the Fasta, but recently I just had the feedneck on mine break right off. Not that I am saying it will happen on everyones. Other than that, the main part of the shells are strong, and it will keep up with a stock pilot easily.

Fasta ftw. you cant beat a 30 bps feed rate for that price.

lol the pilot is capped at 20bps, honeslty without upgrading its almost impossible to hit 17... trust me i did my research, i even did my science experiment on it..i gave ppl the vs2 then the pilot and ppl who did 24 on the vs2 were only able to do 16 on the pilot becuase of the recoil, so if u hear ppl who do 20bps on a stock pilot, u knoe their lyin

i just ordered an egg 3 for my pilot. i assume it will be better than my gravity fed hopper hahaha.

I have an egg 2 and it does perfect for my stock pilot. I actually like the flip down door. Absolutly love this hopper.

I have a fasta and love it. It sets low and holds 230 rounds so far no issues

I would also get the Fasta!

I love my huevo
on the nation there is a list of mods which will prolong the shell life as well as increase performance

Anyone have an idea how fast the zeggy would be if I cut the impeller to three paddles?

11-14-2007, 01:46 PM
fasta. light, doesnt have a crappy door, feeds faster, and holds more paint

i did that to mine and i didnt notice a difference but people have told me it feeds faster.

it improves consistancy
the two paddle mod supposedly increases bps
add a third battery it will make that egg fly
